Looking forward to Challenges of Active Ageing Conference

by on June 4, 2014

I am very much looking forward to my visit to the ‘Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice‘ at Oxford Brookes tomorrow and Friday to attend their symposium on “Challenges of Active Ageing for Equality Law and for the Workplace”.  This great event is brining together academics from a variety of disciplines along with practitioners in law, trade unions and a variety of employers and policy makers to debate these important issues.

I will be participating as a panel member in a discussion about active ageing and the implications for the management of human resources and employers of extended working lives on Friday afternoon and will therefore be making lots of notes of along the way!  This will also ensure I have plenty to write for a blog report later on!  Many thanks to Professor Simonetta Manfredi and Dr Karen Handley for the invitation.
