“Ageing Jose: I’m still Special”

We don’t often link to articles in the Sun, to be honest they just don’t appear in our searches that frequently rather than that being a deliberate strategy of avoidance!

Here however we thought the emphasis on age in this reporting of the return of Jose Mourinho to manage Chelsea Football Club was worthy of discussion.  From the by line describing him as “Ageing Jose” to a focus on his white hair, his age (50) seems a key topic of discussion.  Interesting to reflect back on how this compares with other recent age-related football stories include the retirements of David Beckham and Alex Ferguson.
