by on February 11, 2013

With London Fashion Week starting on Friday, this piece by Creative Boom (an online magazine for the creative industries) reports that there are new apprenticeship opportunities for young people in the UK fashion industry.

There’s talk of  ‘a renaissance in UK clothing and textile manufacture’ and on-the-job training is seen as invaluable in garment manufacturing in order to be able to promote the ‘Made in Britain’ label.

Fashion Enter is reported to have increased its intake of apprentices and relocated to larger factory premises in North London. Click here for the striking Soviet workers-style poster for their ‘We can do it’ rallying call.
