Lost Generation?
We’ve seen the term ‘lost generation’ widely used, usually to describe young people currently unemployed who in the UK are also referred to as NEETs (those aged 16-24 and not in education, employment or training).
As with many such terms, ‘lost generation’ is also used as part of the rhetoric of a call for action.
This article on the Huffington Post offers an interesting take, calling for business to help teenagers be better informed about entrepreneurship (in particular, in terms of funding and mentoring).
