Organizational legacy of London 2012
We commented earlier on how the Olympics is sometimes overlooked as an organizational context within the management and organizational studies literature and how this might change as a result of London 2012.
Well, the CIPD are offering a keynote address at their Annual Conference entitled “Learning from the Olympics – Inspiring a Generation” to be given by the HR Director of London 2012.
Under the overall heading of Creating High Performing Organizations, the talk promises to cover such topics as:
• Talent – how experienced and young talent worked together to create exceptional levels of success
• Inspiring a generation – What can HR learn from the London 2012 legacy, community involvement and volunteering successes?
