Raising the pension age

The OECD has published a report this week on the need for Governments to raise pension ages in line with increasing life expectancy in order to ensure that their national pension systems are affordable and adequate. Details of the report are here.

The Daily Mail examines what this might mean in the UK. Retiring at 67 or older may be the future. But will it be possible for those in poor health to continue working and will employers be willing to recruit or retain older workers? As you might expect, lots of reader comments on this topic.
