Youth employment ‘Summit’

The Scottish Parliament are discussing the future employment prospects for Scotland’s young people at a “summit” today, according to this piece in The Telegraph.

There have been recent pronouncements (e.g. here) on the “unemployability” of  many school leavers applying for apprenticeships and the suggestion that some further education colleges provide no more than in “state-sponsored babysitting”, rather than preparation for the workplace.
