Different generations at work

by on March 21, 2012

Interesting article from Canada on potential differences between generations in the workplace and the prediction that, with longer working lives, there could in future be up to 6 different generations working alongside each other.

This also reflects how ‘generations’ are created by reference to shared experience in technology and culture and how the pace of change in these areas is speeding up the formation of new generations.

But will age and generations dominate how workers will be categorised in future or, as is suggested in this piece, will ability be more important?
