ILO Video contest: ‘Decent Work for Youth’

by on March 12, 2012

The International Labour Organization has launched a video contest for young people (defined as from 18-29 years) on how the global jobs crisis is affecting them.

Contestants are asked to use their creativity and originality to describe (in a video) how the youth employment crisis has affected them, for example, whether they are having difficulty in entering the job market, if they have lost a job and are struggling to find another, or whether they work in poor conditions. They are also asked to suggest ‘innovative ideas’ that might help.

Instructions on how to enter the competition are here, the closing date is 10 April 2012.
