Age – and the Eurovision Song Contest

According to Paul Gambaccini, Great Britain has picked a winner in selecting 75 year old Engelbert Humperdinck as its choice for the Eurovision Song Contest.

In this interview he explains how, whilst the youth vote will be split across many young contestants, the over-50s of Europe will support the veteran singer (the ‘geezer vote’, he calls it).
