It investigates ‘age’ as an aspect of how people are portrayed and represented on television.

Two major concerns are how younger people are portrayed and the lack of middle aged and older women on television. Interestingly, this was less of an issue for radio as audiences cannot readily tell the age of presenters and contributors in that medium.
